Mushroom Preservation Workshop- Sequanota Sat 9/2

In this small group, hands-on workshop, Mycological Association of Washington DC member and professional forager and chef Iulian Fortu of Arcadia Venture will walk participants through various techniques for preserving mushrooms, whether wild or cultivated, including drying, freezing, pickling, and fermenting. Participants will get to make and take home a jar of preserved mushrooms and semi-finished mushroom jerky to finish at home.
